WHO MADE THE PAKISTAN FLAG

The reality of First Flag of Pakistan in press conference of Mr. Muhammad Samin Khan, Barrister-at-Law, President Tehreek-e-Nazriya Pakistan at Karachi Press Club on 30th October 2008.

" I am thankful to you who have invited me for this important matter of preparation of First Flag of Pakistan in 1947, i.e who has prepared the First Flag of Pakistan.

I am the eye witness of all the matter and I have sufficient proof of it.

It was announced on 3rd June 1947 that Pakistan has come into existence. Mr. Liaquat Ali Khan, General Secretary All India Muslim League rang me and advised me to meet him, at the earliest. His house was not very far from my house in New Delhi. I soon reached to his house "Gul-e-Rana Joharding Avenue" in my car. His secretary, Mr. Shafaat took me to him. I sat on a chair. He was busy talking with a lady sitting near him. When he finished his talking with the lady, he informed me that this lady is the main journalist of "LIFE MAGAZINE" America and she came to India to get the photograghs of the whole event i.e. to keep on record the whole matter of division of India. Her name was Miss. Margaret Bourke White. He said that go and show her the whole new Delhi, and all those places she wanted to see and keep on record. I asked Miss. Margaret Bourke White as to where she want to go. She said to me that she not only want to see the New Dehli but also the Old Dehli as well as people living there. Nawabzada Liaquat Ali Khan told me to entertain her fully. also arrange lunch for her. As a joke I told Nawabzada Sahib that I will get her to Jamia Masjid where I will serve Kabab Paratha to her. He advise me to get her in a suitable hotel. I took her in my car to a hotel. I was myself driving the car. my driver was sitting behind me who took her camera and other material in his custody. I showed her the most of the places of Delhi where she took the photographs of important places which she found beautiful. After a short while I moved the car to Qarol Baagh Delhi, where I lived for few months, I parked my car near a tailoring shop, who often sewed sherwani only but at the moment he was preparing / sewing a Flag i.e. First Flag of Pakistan.

Miss Margaret Bourke White took lot of photographs of the Flag as well as Tailor Master. The name of that lucky Tailor Master is "Altaf Hussain"

We were exhausted due to driving etc. so I asked Miss Margret to move for lunch. We then entered in Hotel Kenat Palace and did the lunch. During lunch we discussed various points of the politics of Indo-Pak. then I left Miss Margaret in famous Hotel Imperial of New Dehli.

This is the real story of First Flag of Pakistan. All photographs of that time are in the copy of 18th August 1947 of "LIFE MAGAZINE" of America, which Miss Margaret took with me. In those pictures you will find the photo of the person who has prepared the First Flag of Pakistan. He is none other than "Altaf Hussain"
